Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with customers to apply optimization strategies and tactics that reduce cloud spend and improve workload efficiency.
  • •Collect, review, and analyze financial data from cloud sources, including cost usage reports (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer and equivalents).
  • •Create, maintain, and update financial deliverables and dashboards using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Excel.
  • •Provide technical knowledge and training on cloud usage, patterns, and FinOps practices, including billing expertise.
  • •Support cloud optimization research and deploy techniques such as addressing low utilization and managing master payer accounts with 100+ linked accounts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •1+ years of relevant experience in Cloud or Financial Operations.
  • •FinOps experience, including hands-on cost analysis using cloud cost usage reports for AWS (and experience with AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud (OCI), or GCP).
  • •Effective communication skills (oral and written) and strong organizational skills.
  • •Preferred: 2+ years experience and/or FinOps Practitioner Certification, plus expert-level Microsoft Excel experience.
