Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair mechanical fixtures and plumbing components such as sinks, commodes, showers, water heaters, hot water tanks, booster pumps, and fire sprinkler systems.
  • •Receive work orders from the supervisor and complete tasks to required quality standards while following facility safety practices.
  • •Monitor and report daily on the status of plumbing system subsystems, drainage/sanitary lines, and fittings.
  • •Respond to service calls for malfunctions in utility/sanitary systems and report status to customers, the requester, and senior technician.
  • •Cut, thread, and bend pipes; locate and mark positions for pipes, connections, and valves; study plans/blueprints for sewage and drainage systems; generate spare-parts requisitions; submit daily end-of-shift reports.
