Job Summary

Operate heavy equipment in an open pit mine/quarry environment, ensuring safe and efficient production activities. Key Responsibilities

•Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment used in pit and mining operations.
•Report problems to your manager and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
•Follow foreman directions for daily tasks and job site expectations.
•Perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems to the foreman.
•Complete daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation and assist in training less-experienced employees.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience operating equipment such as haul trucks, motor graders, bulldozers, excavators, or front-end loaders.
•Prior related experience in the construction field and/or training.
•Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
•Pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical and maintain valid I-9 immigration documentation.
•Strictly follow safety requirements and OSHA/MSHA regulations, including wearing PPE and working outdoors in extreme temperatures.
