Key Responsibilities

•Install building automation systems and temperature control systems, including conduit, enclosures, wiring, and end devices.
•Prepare for on-site installation by reviewing building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating with other trades.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and servicing equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Maintain inventory, company equipment, and complete job paperwork (daily time, progress, duration) with timely reporting and file maintenance.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets while performing vehicle/tool/equipment inspections and handling occasional overnight travel.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 2–5 years of experience in HVAC/controls; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Knowledge of low-voltage electricity and electronics (board-level troubleshooting), direct digital controls, and building control techniques.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld computers (smartphone, iPad).
•Current or future participation in an ABC electrical apprenticeship program is desired.
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the prior 3 years.
