Key Responsibilities

•Design engineering solutions for mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware based on established engineering principles and guidelines.
•Provide tier 4 engineering support, investigate hardware field and factory issues, and determine root causes.
•Develop and implement parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, power measurements and acoustics.
•Apply continuous improvement methodologies to improve performance, reliability and quality while reducing cost.
•Serve as HP technical interface for strategic suppliers.
•Lead or contribute to cross-functional teams to develop reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for highly-complex products.
•Collaborate with management, development partners, and stakeholders regarding design status, progress, and issue resolution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline (preference for Mechanical Engineering)
•Typically 5 to 7 years of engineering experience, preferably in mechanical design
•Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines and deliver solutions across all design stages
•Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills; data-driven
•Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders
