Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise production line/department personnel to ensure procedures are followed and achieve production schedules, efficiencies, and budget objectives.
  • •Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics while meeting production requirements.
  • •Ensure daily reporting is completed accurately (departmental reports, attendance/staffing, yields, etc.).
  • •Identify and communicate process optimization opportunities and lead/process improvements while monitoring metrics and responding to unfavorable trends.
  • •Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a food-safe, sanitary environment and enforce safety initiatives, including PPE compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) is required; associate’s degree with relevant coursework is preferred.
  • •Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting; 3 years in food manufacturing or poultry industry is preferred.
  • •1 year of leadership experience, including timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, Top 25 behaviors, and conflict resolution; 3 years preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regulations, including OSHA, GMP, and HACCP.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) with internal and external customers; ability to communicate in multiple languages is preferred.
