Job Summary

Plan, design, and execute electrical maintenance activities to keep equipment, infrastructure, and facilities running reliably in a manufacturing environment. Diagnose malfunctions, monitor performance, implement corrective actions, and reduce downtime by extending machine lifespan. Track and optimize maintenance strategies using KPIs, maintenance records, and reports, while partnering on the floor with craftworkers and supporting equipment upgrade planning.

•Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
•Identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions and ensure necessary repairs.
•Monitor equipment and infrastructure performance, apply corrective actions, and improve critical facility areas.
•Reduce downtime and extend machine/equipment lifespan through maintenance execution and tracking.
•Set and track KPIs and maintain reports/records; support strategic planning for equipment upgrades.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required.
•In lieu of a degree, electrical journeyman card or LME license.
•3–5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing/production environment.
•Knowledge in PLCs—preferably Allen-Bradley.
•Experience troubleshooting electrical components on manufacturing equipment (e.g., furnaces, forges, extruding presses, rocker arm welders, shearing machines).
