Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that change how associates work and how customers interact.
  • •Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Make high-judgment build-vs-buy decisions across open source and SaaS AI technologies and optimize for production performance (scalability, cost, latency, throughput).
  • •Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems.
  • •Operationalize Responsible AI by establishing review gates, documentation/evaluation requirements, rollout/rollback standards, and collaboration with Research, Data, and Platform teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,800 - 286,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/AI/Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related) plus 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master’s degree plus 4+ years.
  • •At least 1 year of people leadership experience.
  • •Experience managing and leading an engineering team (preferred: 3 years).
  • •6+ years deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (preferred: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent).
  • •Experience developing AI/ML (preferred including LLM inference, similarity search/vector databases, guardrails, memory) using Python, C++, C#, Java, CUDA, or Golang; and building agentic AI systems (preferred).
