Originate residential first mortgage loans for outside referrals, managing each loan from application through closing. Build and maintain referral relationships (realtors, builders, and personal/professional contacts), stay current on mortgage policies and products, and guide applicants through the process. Use tools and systems to gather documentation, assess credit and rates, transmit loan packages, manage pipelines, and provide timely updates while meeting sales and cross-selling objectives.
