Job Summary

Operate and diagnose failures for the utility systems at the La Barca distillery, including biomass boilers, cooling towers, chillers, compressors, low/medium-voltage electrical substations, and water treatment (PTAR, extraction well). Handle automated equipment such as CCM, industrial instrumentation, transmissions, and motor-reducers. Apply technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, steam, thermodynamics, and fluids, while supporting safe maintenance practices and continuous improvement activities in a shift-based role.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate utility equipment including biomass boilers, cooling towers, chillers, compressors, low/medium-voltage electrical substation, PTAR, water pretreatment, water extraction well, pumps, motors, heat exchangers, valves, and piping.
•Operate and diagnose failures in automated equipment such as CCM, industrial instrumentation, transmissions, and motor-reducers.
•Apply knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, single-line diagrams, and industrial mechanical systems for effective operations and troubleshooting.
•Support safe maintenance and tool/equipment use, including EPP and LOTO, and work safely around hazards (noise, vibration, confined spaces, heights, chemicals).
•Maintain readiness for shift work, weekends, and holidays while driving improvements through analytical and leadership skills.

Key Requirements

•University degree in Electromechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance engineering or related field.
•2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Operator Technician, Maintenance Analyst, or similar role.
•Spanish language; intermediate English is desirable.
•Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and single-line diagrams, industrial mechanical systems, steam systems, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
•Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and control diagrams; ability to use TPM and tools/systems such as SAP and Excel.
