Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment on work locations, including spotting vessels and pre-mixing spacer fluids.
  • •Assist in cement pumping and mixed equipment operations, blenders, additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, and data acquisition/ADC systems.
  • •Learn and apply basic oil well operations such as volumes and pressures, plug landing pressures, balanced plugs, and cement blending calculations.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete associated paperwork/reports.
  • •Verify correct valve line-up on bulk systems and surface manifold equipment and ensure compliance with HSE and quality improvement processes.

Key Requirements

  • •High school or similar education.
  • •0–6 months of experience as an Operator Asst-Cementing I.
  • •Ability to assist with rigging-up and rigging-down cementing service equipment under supervision.
  • •Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.
