Job Summary

Senior Project Manager role in WSP’s Maritime team delivering medium to large-scale capital infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally. Lead cross-disciplinary project teams from inception to handover, manage contracts and controls, and ensure delivery against time, budget, scope, resources, risk, safety and quality while fostering collaboration and client-focused delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead high-performing project teams across multiple workstreams and engineering disciplines from inception through handover, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning and integration.
•Deliver projects to agreed KPIs, reporting monthly on time, budget, scope, resources, risk, safety and quality.
•Promote WSP culture and support personal and professional development within the Ports & Maritime team.
•Administer, implement and maintain contract and commercial administration systems, together with project controls functions.
•Provide direction and leadership to the team to successfully deliver project responsibilities.

Key Requirements

•Chartership status with a professional association or advanced project/programme/portfolio management qualification (e.g., ChPP, PMP)
•Experience in managing FIDIC/NEC contracts or equivalent
•Experience of capital projects within infrastructure or engineering-led environments
•Strong analytical capability with scheduling, risk, cost and performance data
•Familiarity with lean performance concepts and continuous improvement
