Design and validate signal integrity for high-speed Ethernet and PCIe networking hardware used in AI and HPC infrastructure. Collaborate with engineering teams and partners to define and optimize signal integrity requirements across boards, packages, SerDes, and IBIS-AMI models. Perform simulation, analysis, and bench validation with advanced instrumentation, correlate results with measurements, and debug failures to improve robustness and product quality for Intel networking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver signal integrity solutions for large, complex high-speed boards and packages.
•Develop die-to-die interconnect modeling: define signal integrity rules, review implementation, document characterization, and produce measurement reports.
•Run interconnect simulations, apply signal integrity tradeoffs, and guide platform implementation.
•Characterize test structures to correlate simulations with interconnect measurements using test equipment; perform conformance measurements and debug failures.
•Document and provide implementation guidelines to end customers; collaborate with IP design and silicon integration teams to meet product requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer, electrical, systems engineering, or a related technical field with 3+ years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
•Foundational signal and systems knowledge including time/frequency domain analysis and linear vs logarithmic scaling concepts.
•Exposure to computational tools such as Python (SciPy/NumPy) and MATLAB or similar.
•Hands-on experience in signal integrity engineering.
•Strong technical communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
