Key Responsibilities

  • •Support European expansion by working with growth and corporate development teams to build supplier and industry leader relationships across the UK and Continental Europe.
  • •Shape pre-contract strategy by defining scope, developing proposals, and generating term sheets during pre-commit phases.
  • •Lead supplier engagement end-to-end, including selection, qualification, onboarding, and multi-tier visibility across tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers.
  • •Ensure compliance with European regulations and defense-related controls (e.g., REACH, RoHS, ITAR, dual-use goods, sanctions, export controls).
  • •Serve as primary liaison across engineering, operations, and program teams and manage supplier performance, escalation, corrective actions, and capacity planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • •12+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement focused on contract manufacturing, preferably in defense, aerospace, or advanced technology industries.
  • •Proven success negotiating and managing complex manufacturing agreements with European suppliers, including strong understanding of European business culture and practices.
  • •Regulatory expertise across the European compliance landscape, including export controls, dual-use technology regulations, and related defense equipment transfer principles.
  • •Professional fluency in English and demonstrated ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 30–40%).
