Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on schedule over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment as needed, including unloading empty skids and returning equipment.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping bills of lading and deliver required documentation when the route is complete.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.
  • •Must pass DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Must pass background and drug testing per federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
