Job Summary

Deliver heavy equipment from EquipmentShare’s rental facility using real-time fleet and delivery details. Operate a truck and trailer safely while following state and federal transportation laws, maneuvering into loading/unloading areas, and assisting with loading and unloading as needed. Maintain required paperwork such as invoices and bills of lading, deliver documents, and perform routine truck checks while reporting maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and on schedule over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment as needed, including unloading empty skids and returning equipment.
•Maintain signed invoices and shipping bills of lading and deliver required documentation when the route is complete.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.
•Must pass DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
•Must pass background and drug testing per federal and/or state DOT regulations.
•Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
