Ensure data assets are high-quality, secure, discoverable, and AI-ready by driving cross-functional alignment on business semantics and metadata standards. Operationalize enterprise business glossaries, lines of ownership, and data catalog enrichment while monitoring data/metadata quality metrics and driving issue resolution. Help implement governance policies (classification, retention, access controls) and enable self-service adoption through training, playbooks, and communications for technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with domain stakeholders and data teams to develop and maintain enterprise business glossaries, metadata, and lines of ownership.
•Ensure consistent business definitions and naming conventions across business units and functions, resolving data-related conflicts.
•Define, monitor, and report domain data/metadata quality metrics and drive issues to resolution (including AI-augmented anomaly detection).
•Assist in creation and enforcement of data governance policies, including data classification, retention schedules, and access controls.
•Support self-service enablement through communications, playbooks, training, and promoting responsible use of AI in governance processes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Library & Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
•3+ years of professional experience in analytics, data governance, data management, knowledge management, or a related field.
•Operational experience implementing data governance policies and best practices (e.g., data modeling or data quality management workflows).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Proficiency with SQL and strong understanding of relational databases and dimensional modeling techniques.
