Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, modify, and approve technical documentation for Digital I&C upgrades supporting the power uprate project.
  • •Maintain plant configuration control by advocating for the site’s Design Bases.
  • •Prepare modifications, calculations, specifications, and technical reports to support power uprate work.
  • •Coordinate owner’s acceptance reviews of products developed by external consulting companies contracted for the project.
  • •Perform field walk-downs, resolve emergent issues with other groups, and provide support for regulatory/oversight agency interfaces including NRC inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering or related Science degree from an accredited engineering program.
  • •Registered Professional Engineer (desired); Ohio preferred or able to secure through reciprocity.
  • •10–15 years of experience.
  • •Technical understanding of nuclear plant processes/programs and extensive expertise in Digital I&C.
  • •Experience upgrading control systems from analog to digital, with experience in GE Mark VIe and/or Westinghouse Ovation Digital Control System platforms (preferred).
