Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to meet CarMax’s high standards for quality and safety.
  • •Perform general vehicle inspections and entry level repairs for the mechanical reconditioning process per CarMax Quality Standards.
  • •Identify issues including tire, brake, battery, and fluid problems, as well as frame, rust, and flood damage.
  • •Replace and service components such as oil, air filters, and other mechanical parts as required.
  • •Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
