Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage a large team of operators to ensure production standards are met.
  • •Plan, monitor and coordinate personnel, equipment and resources to achieve Dawson’s targets and schedules.
  • •Demonstrate a strong drive for safety and ensure safe production at Dawson Mine.
  • •Coach and mentor an established crew and support investigative problem-solving.
  • •Collaborate with other departments on site while maintaining strong working relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Supervisor experience leading a large team within an open cut mining operation.
  • •Demonstrated experience with Truck and Shovel operations and working knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • •Hold Supervisor & Risk Facilitator competencies (S1, 2, 3 & G2).
  • •OCE ticket is desirable but not mandatory.
  • •Trainer & Assessor certification is desirable.
