Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate pipe installation and heavy civil construction work across grading, excavation, and underground utilities. Plan and troubleshoot daily work assignments, manage personnel, equipment, and materials, and maintain required project records, safety, and inspection documentation. Interpret construction drawings and project plans, review cost/quantity/utilization reports, collaborate with subcontractors and dispatch/plant teams, and lead weekly safety meetings while ensuring OSHA/MSHA/DOT compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage personnel safely and provide onsite direction and guidance during the workday.
•Plan, troubleshoot, and schedule daily work assignments; assign priorities; requisition materials and equipment to complete projects.
•Prepare and maintain required written records, logs, progress reports, time and weight tickets, attendance records, and safety/inspection documents.
•Interpret blueprints, charts, maps, and other construction drawings and plans.
•Coordinate with subcontractors and collaborate with plant/dispatcher and other supervisors and engineers for scheduling, inspections, and weekly safety meetings.

Key Requirements

•Must be a current member or able to join Laborers#737 or Operators#701.
•1+ year experience in heavy civil construction, specifically grading, excavation, underground utilities, site work, and/or related scopes.
•Demonstrated effectiveness as a leader managing personnel, scheduling, and equipment for construction projects.
•Possess a valid Driver’s license.
•Demonstrated proficiency reading blueprints/site specifications and ability to follow OSHA/MSHA/DOT and company/state rules; must pass drug screen/physical and work overtime as needed.
