Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare Protection & Control engineering designs for HV/EHV substations (11kV–400kV or above).
  • •Develop protection diagrams and documentation including SLDs, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, and interconnection diagrams.
  • •Design protection relay panels, control panels, annunciation panels, metering panels, and RTU/SCADA interfaces.
  • •Prepare relay settings philosophy, coordinate with system studies, and perform protection coordination and relay configuration review.
  • •Coordinate with civil, primary, telecom, and SCADA teams; review vendor drawings; and support FAT/SAT and commissioning with IEC/IEEE and client standard compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •Experience in HV/EHV substation Protection & Control design.
  • •Knowledge of protection schemes for Transmission and Distribution substations.
  • •Experience with protection relays from Siemens, GE, ABB/Hitachi Energy, Schneider Electric, or SEL.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, with strong communication and coordination skills.
