Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and verify construction materials delivered to site for compliance with RTA specifications, approved material submittals, and contract requirements.
  • •Check material source approvals, delivery notes, batch certificates, and test reports prior to acceptance and use at site.
  • •Carry out sampling and witnessing of laboratory and field tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other civil materials as per approved ITPs.
  • •Ensure materials used for roadworks, bridges, culverts, drainage, and utility works conform to approved specifications and drawings, and monitor storage/handling to prevent contamination or damage.
  • •Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and material logs; identify non-conforming materials, raise NCRs, follow up corrective actions, ensure HSE compliance, and coordinate with engineers on testing schedules and reporting.
