Key Responsibilities

•Drive the overall architecture for the Mastercard Commercial Solutions platform with a focus on microservices-based fintech architectures and 12-factor design principles.
•Design enterprise-grade APIs and maintain technical blueprints and service descriptions for your solutions.
•Ensure high availability and system resiliency to maximize uptime and capacity, collaborating with product and engineering leaders.
•Lead reviews and collaborate with principal engineers, service architects, and development teams to ensure adherence to architectural designs.
•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to technical leads and teams, and represent the program as a contributing architect across Mastercard groups.

Key Requirements

•Must have strong foundation in computer science and microservices-based software architecture.
•Extensive experience with platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and containers (e.g., PCF, Kubernetes) and cloud-native technologies.
•Proven track record designing high-transaction, financial systems at global scale with high uptime.
•Proficiency with web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end frameworks (Angular); extensive back-end experience using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and related tools (PCF, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
•Strong understanding of storage technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and experience with automated testing and CI/CD (Git).
