Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage mechanic shop activities to ensure repairs are completed timely and meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • •Purchase and oversee maintenance/protection of shop equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • •Provide and maintain a safe work environment by enforcing Auction safety procedures and complying with OSHA requirements.
  • •Supervise and develop mechanic shop staff, including recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and conducting performance appraisals.
  • •Review work volumes and staffing levels using KPIs/metrics; develop and execute strategies to improve departmental performance and customer service.
