Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and engineer secure, highly available multi-cloud network fabrics across AWS and GCP, including multi-account/multi-project and shared services patterns.
  • •Define scalable routing, segmentation, IP addressing, DNS, and connectivity strategies across hundreds of accounts/projects, regions, and VPCs.
  • •Build resilient hybrid and inter-cloud connectivity architectures using direct connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, GCP Interconnect) and VPN/BGP routing with clear failure domains.
  • •Implement network security-by-design using Zero Trust principles, least-privilege connectivity, traffic inspection points, and centralized firewall/segmentation controls.
  • •Automate infrastructure with IaC, establish observability (flow logs and monitoring), and lead packet-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for major incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •10–12+ years network engineering experience with substantial hands-on public cloud networking (AWS and GCP).
  • •7–8+ years deep practical knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, NAT, routing, VPN, firewalls, load balancing, and network segmentation.
  • •4–5+ years hands-on AWS networking experience (e.g., VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, PrivateLink, Route 53, VPN, AWS Network Firewall).
  • •4–5+ years hands-on GCP networking experience (e.g., VPC/Shared VPC, NCC, Cloud Router, Cloud Interconnect, HA VPN, Private Service Connect, Cloud DNS, Firewall Policies).
  • •Strong Infrastructure as Code and automation experience (3–4+ years), preferably Terraform, with CI/CD and automated validation/compliance practices.
