Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead inventory management strategies including allocation, replenishment, consolidation, store capacity, and product life cycle management to maximize sales, margin, and inventory targets.
  • •Own pre-season and in-season merchandise financial plans (open-to-buy, flow planning, forecasting, and in-season management), including promotional and markdown activities.
  • •Run rolling forecasts using assumptions for sales split, markdown, and sell-through to create multi-timeframe seasonal plans and manage in-season inventory risk/opportunities.
  • •Provide data-driven recommendations and SKU-level analytics to optimize multi-channel inventory and maximize channel sales.
  • •Analyze store/cluster sales and product performance, support planning processes with marketplace teams, and manage system settings for markdown and promotion.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3-5 years of related experience in channel/inventory planning and forecasting.
  • •Advanced understanding of retail mathematics and Open to Buy principles.
  • •Strong analytical skills to interpret multiple data points across channels and market segments.
  • •Fluent in Japanese and English, with strong interpersonal written and verbal communication.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) and ability to adopt VF tools/systems (SAP, BI, Tableau).
