Own the technical direction for Canva’s hybrid mobile platform that powers iOS, Android, and the web experience. •Own the technical direction for a hybrid stack platform that deploys across runtimes and maximizes reusability without compromising performance or user experience.
•Build and evolve the mobile capabilities and fundamentals that enable native-feeling experiences for iOS and Android from a shared codebase.
•Ship early production code to real users in partnership with the team, rather than running a long research effort.
•Stay hands-on by living in the codebase, pushing commits, and leading architecture with code instead of whiteboards.
•Influence product groups that depend on the platform, mentoring Staff and Senior engineers and overseeing architectural decisions without direct reports.

•Operated as a principal-level leader where both problem and solution were unknown, driving alignment on a clear technical direction across leaders.
•Have deep cross-platform fundamentals for iOS and Android, and understanding of how patterns map across web.
•Remain actively involved in day-to-day coding, with experience using agentic orchestration in real work.
