Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and deliver multiple roadway projects on schedule by ensuring design outputs meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
  • •Coordinate with other design disciplines and remote office locations across planning, environmental, roadway, structures, hydraulics/drainage, and traffic.
  • •Collaborate with management on long-range plans, including staffing recommendations, evaluating, and mentoring subordinate staff.
  • •Manage project schedule, budget, and profitability, overseeing preparation of plans, specifications, proposals, and RFC packages.
  • •Lead transportation design from conceptual and preliminary engineering through final design; support alternative delivery proposals and manage client/contractor relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • •10+ years of post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred), or ability to obtain a Professional Engineering License.
  • •Highly proficient in civil engineering principles and design/build, including permitting and related project issues.
  • •Strong knowledge of civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements; significant DOT project experience is required.
