Job Summary

Lead high-impact machine learning initiatives for post-purchase dispute resolution and recovery products, improving automation, recovery outcomes, and client experience at global scale. Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle from problem framing and feature engineering through model development, deployment, monitoring, and experimentation. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Engineering to translate business needs into scalable, productionized models and GenAI/LLM-based decision support.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and lead high-impact ML initiatives across dispute decisioning, merchant matching, and recovery prediction.
•Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including problem framing, feature engineering, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
•Build and productionize scalable models using large-scale transaction and dispute datasets.
•Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Engineering to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
•Design and implement GenAI/LLM-based solutions for explainability, workflow automation, and decision support, and mentor junior team members.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (or at least 2 years with an advanced degree, or 0 years with a PhD), or 8+ years of relevant work experience.
•Advanced degree preferred in AI, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
•Experience applying data science/analytics or machine learning to solve complex business problems with measurable outcomes in production.
•Hands-on programming skills in Python or R with SQL, plus experience with scalable model development and large-scale datasets.
•Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark, and version control tools like git or GitHub.
