Job Summary

Drive credit administration for the Middle Market line of business by leading deals from opportunity to close and maximizing portfolio performance. Partner with line of business coverage teams on credit structure, risk identification, and recommendations. Analyze repayment scenarios, covenants, and collateral; ensure integrity and documentation of approved credits and portfolio administration. Stay current on banking products, markets, and regulations while stewarding capital and underwriting standards, including leadership and development for a Portfolio Management team.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with line of business coverage teams on credit structure recommendations and potential risks.
•Assess credit terms including repayment analysis, projected scenarios, covenants, and collateral requirements.
•Ensure integrity and proper documentation of individual credits and the assigned portfolio.
•Act as a steward of the firm’s capital by ensuring adherence to risk management and underwriting standards.
•Lead or support initiatives to improve delivery of credit solutions and provide leadership and development for the Portfolio Management team.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (MBA, CPA, CFA or equivalent preferred).
•Minimum of 12 years of experience in a credit role focused on real estate (commercial and residential), including experience with homebuilders and developers.
•Completion of a Formal Credit Training program or commensurate underwriting experience.
•Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to assess credit risk, communicate policies and objectives, and build relationships with teams and clients.
•Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of commercial loans and lending laws/regulations.
