Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop mechanical auxiliary system equipment to meet established requirements, including participating in design reviews.
  • •Produce optimized auxiliary system and/or equipment detail designs and present them in design reviews.
  • •Support translation of designs into manufacturable solutions and incorporate required changes.
  • •Contribute to integration, validation, and qualification activities, including supporting integration/validation plans and reports.
  • •Proactively identify design integration and delivery risks, assess hazards and SFARP safety/environmental risks, and act as primary supplier point of contact when required.

Key Requirements

  • •A strong background in the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of piping and/or fluid transfer systems.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Aeronautical Engineering (or experience suitable in lieu of a degree).
  • •Experience developing mechanical designs, participating in design reviews, and performing design analyses for integration, validation, and qualification.
  • •Experience working on maritime systems is considered suitable in lieu of a degree.
  • •Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain, including eligibility to be cleared for ITAR regulations.
