Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist U.S. Government with supply, inventory, and stockpile management for U.S. Army ammunition in USCENTCOM, including storage levels and theater stockage objectives.
  • •Provide management and asset visibility using ammunition management automation sites and systems including SAAS, TAMIS, MHP, and NLAC.
  • •Identify shortages, monitor on-hand stocks for theater war reserves, and track ammunition accountability and visibility.
  • •Track ammunition shipments by air, ground, and sea; create Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides showing stock levels and destination shortages analysis.
  • •Receive, evaluate, and approve/disapprove Ammunition Basic Load (ABL) requests and provide up-to-date status; serve as subject matter expert in ammunition operations and contingency planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).
  • •Minimum active Secret security clearance.
  • •2+ years of Theater/Operational level Conventional Ammunition Management experience, including distribution and accountability.
  • •Proficient in Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS) operations, including daily cycles and reporting and inventory accountability.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain Kuwait Work Visa and meet CENTCOM/CRC medical and deployment requirements (OCONUS).
