Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage an hourly workforce by assessing performance, providing feedback, resolving conflicts, and addressing repeat issues with corrective actions or disciplinary measures.
  • •Monitor and improve materials management operations to ensure safety (goal of zero OSHA recordable annually) and compliance with AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements.
  • •Oversee incoming acceptance, storing, issuing of parts and hardware into inventory, including cycle counting, shelf-life storage controls, FIFO rotation, and effective environmental controls.
  • •Lead customer service operations by adapting material processes to business needs and meeting agreed-upon service levels for internal customers.
  • •Supervise local shipping and receiving, coordinate movements, support fleet vehicle control and preventative maintenance, and drive cost-saving and continuous improvement projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing, or 4+ years of professional experience in the same areas.
  • •1+ years of leadership experience leading teams, projects, or people.
  • •Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
  • •Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines.
  • •Ability to work one of the following shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–4:30pm or Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–2:30am.
