Key Responsibilities

  • •Open, close, maintain, and process checking, savings, time deposit, and individual retirement accounts, including safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and basic consumer loans.
  • •Listen to client needs, answer questions, and resolve problems by collecting data and providing accurate solutions.
  • •Profile clients to identify sales opportunities and use lead lists/strategies to generate additional business and meet sales goals.
  • •Receive and process new accounts and requested changes to existing accounts, while maintaining customer information privacy and maintaining professional business relations.
  • •Complete required reports and records, ensure work areas are clean and secure, and support banking center activities such as year-end reporting, key/safe deposit box audits, and treasury management new accounts/services.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •0 up to 3 years of new account experience.
  • •Complete Personal Banker Mentor Program / Personal Banker Learning Plan (and applicable teller learning plan) and related training modules.
  • •Understanding of caller identification process and Secure code training, including BPM and DocuSign training.
  • •Excellent communication and public relations skills with solid math and bookkeeping abilities.
