Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/brake/cooling systems, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, and related equipment.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
  • •Maintain and operate a company-issued service vehicle, conduct safety checks, and complete pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work on Repair Orders using a company-issued iOS device and the TRAIT application, and complete DOT forms and other documentation accurately and on time.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination such as 5 years’ experience).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within eighteen months.
  • •Able to successfully complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
