Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive a logging truck safely in Kootenay operations under varying weather, site, terrain, and road conditions.
  • •Complete pre-trip inspections and perform minor repairs, including fueling, lubing, and washing the truck.
  • •Set and pull stakes, operate the trailer hoist, and hammer mark and tag loads at the scale.
  • •Install tire chains in winter conditions when required.
  • •Communicate clearly and concisely via radio with various people throughout the day.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 39.21 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a Class One Driver’s License.
  • •Provide proof of certifications/licenses and a driver’s abstract.
  • •Ability to work safely and efficiently while driving and operating in varying conditions.
