Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
  • •Prepare technical specifications and contribute to project documentation.
  • •Prepare structural analysis and calculation reports.
  • •Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients to ensure efficient project execution.
  • •Conduct site visits, inspections, and structural assessments to evaluate structure’s conditions and provide recommendations.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering six (6) years of experience or equivalent
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Alberta in good standing
  • •Holding security clearance or the ability to obtain secret level security clearance
  • •8+ years of experience in structural engineering after P.Eng., including leadership in design delivery
  • •Proficiency in 3D structural analysis, modeling, and design software (ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, SAFE) and knowledge of NBC, OBC, CSA S16/A23.1/A23.3/S304/O86/AISC 360/ACI 318
