Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Instructor Pilot SME supporting training program design, including writing/reviewing training plans and publications, IT/software integration requirements, and physical space design.
  • •Design and develop courseware through the full review cycle across classroom, synthetic devices, and live flying sequences.
  • •Provide SME input for acceptance testing of courseware and synthetic training devices.
  • •Develop policy and procedure documents for the integrated training centre and collaborate with Air Operations on operational policies and procedures.
  • •Analyze and report training needs/risks and support Validation & Verification (V&V) as an RCAF instructional expert.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as an Instructor Pilot within the RCAF or a comparable military training environment.
  • •Expertise with synthetic training devices and multimedia-supported training.
  • •Experience in curriculum design and/or training program management.
  • •Familiarity with high-performance single-engine turboprop trainers (e.g., Pilatus PC-21, Grob 120TP).
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain Level I security clearance.
