Job Summary

Design, build, and deploy automation and machine learning application platforms while applying full-stack SDLC, DevOps, and Agile best practices. Partner with business teams to translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver projects in coordination with local and offshore teams. Apply DevOps tooling and standards, support existing vendor and internal solutions, and maintain technical documentation using defined templates.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform full stack engineering across the SDLC lifecycle, applying DevOps and Agile practices to build future applications and platforms in the automation and machine learning domain.
•Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and prepare/interpret business design documents and technical specification documents.
•Design, build, and deploy automation and machine learning application platforms, including support for existing solutions and products (including vendor products).
•Work closely with local and offshore teams to ensure successful project delivery, aligning with HSBC change management and release processes.
•Apply DevOps practices and tooling in daily development activities, create and maintain technical documentation, and work independently across workstreams when needed.

Key Requirements

•University graduate certificate (major in IT) or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in software design, development, and testing, plus relevant IT development.
•Strong programming and complex application design/development, including DevOps capabilities.
•Proficiency in Java application and API development, including Java Core, IO, multi-threading, collections, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, MyBatis, and microservices.
•Experience with Linux and middleware (WAS Liberty, MQ, Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud development practices (GCP, AWS, Ali Cloud).
