Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead global vendor liaison and structural certification, identifying, vetting, and liaising with engineers and vendors to ensure compliance with local building codes before work begins.
  • •Own early-stage structural due diligence and jurisdictional risk assessments by evaluating seismic, wind, snow, and soil conditions and mapping AHJ/code requirements.
  • •Develop and maintain standardized, repeatable structural designs for modular data center components, turning structural design into a reusable SKU.
  • •Perform in-house structural analysis and design for new products and first-of-a-kind site conditions, establishing engineering basis prior to jurisdictional review.
  • •Provide end-to-end technical oversight through fabrication, installation, and commissioning by reviewing shop drawings and integration details to ensure certified designs are built correctly.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related) and a Professional Engineer (PE or SE) license or international equivalent (e.g., Chartered Engineer).
  • •5–7 years of hands-on structural analysis and design for steel and reinforced concrete structures, including foundations, platforms, and equipment anchorage.
  • •Working knowledge of structural analysis/design software and building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI) plus ability to work across comparable international codes (e.g., NCC, Eurocode) including seismic, wind, snow, and soil loads.
  • •Ability to independently perform in-house structural analysis/design for new products and first-of-a-kind site conditions with high autonomy.
  • •Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20–30% to project sites, fabrication facilities, and construction locations worldwide.
