Job Summary

Support 3rd shift injection molding production by setting up and operating machines, changing material and color, and monitoring quality from startup through ongoing runs. Lead by example with functional leadership, help troubleshoot equipment issues, respond to QA needs by adjusting machine settings, and oversee packaging, schedules, alarms, and corrective actions. Maintain safety standards, perform lockout/tagout, inspect scrap, and coordinate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up and operate injection molding machines, change material and color to meet production schedules, start up equipment, and monitor quality.
•Make machine adjustments to maintain efficient production and respond to QA requests to keep sizes and standards within specification.
•Oversee packaging procedures, review production schedules, and ensure machines run to meet customer demands.
•Respond to alarms and requests for assistance to correct malfunctions and address packer/handler issues; cover for the supervisor when absent.
•Maintain safety and quality/housekeeping standards, perform lockout/tagout, inspect scrap, support material handling, and coordinate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance.
