Key Responsibilities

  • •Own workforce authentication strategy and communicate it to key stakeholders to secure buy-in.
  • •Direct product management and technical roadmaps for core authentication technologies (Okta, YubiKeys, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and Mighty ID) using Jira to deliver epics, features, and stories.
  • •Author secure authentication patterns, zero-trust reference architectures, and cryptographic policy playbooks.
  • •Lead 24/7 engineering and operations for high availability, configuration management, incident response, and business continuity.
  • •Oversee application authentication/authorization integrations and enhance authentication policies, compliance standards, and risk metrics.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 155,000 - 260,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technical STEM discipline.
  • •Minimum 10 years of total enterprise IT engineering experience.
  • •At least 5 years designing, scaling, and operating Okta Identity Cloud solutions, including Okta Advanced Server Access, API Access Management, and Workflows.
  • •Minimum 5 years leading and scaling distributed, cross-functional engineering and infrastructure operations teams.
  • •Expert mastery of identity and cryptographic protocols including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), WS-Fed, and SCIM provisioning.
