Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with Transaction Managers and Directors on the pricing and execution of bulk annuity transactions.
  • •Lead production of cash flow and pricing models for BPA transactions, ensuring robust controls and processes.
  • •Collaborate with other teams to support BPA pricing and execution deal by deal, including reinsurance, asset management, capital management and operations.
  • •Work with the Deal Lead to navigate complexities and non-standard requests, driving solutions.
  • •Build, develop, document, run and maintain actuarial models, and present technical content to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified Actuary.
  • •Practical experience of actuarial cash flow modelling for bespoke projects and application of actuarial methodologies for setting assumptions.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of defined benefit pensions, including modelling of GMP benefits, franking and deferred member benefit calculations.
  • •Ideally experience with bulk annuity modelling and pricing, with an appreciation of financial services regulation including Solvency II and the Matching Adjustment.
  • •Strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
