  • •Supervise and coordinate the development, delivery, and evaluation of evidence-based strength and conditioning programs.
  • •Provide expert instruction and guidance on physical training, exercises, movements, and injury avoidance.
  • •Oversee administrative and quality-assurance functions for physical training programs and serve as primary representative for strength and conditioning across units/components.
  • •Design, administer, evaluate, and document effects of physical training protocols for SOF personnel in garrison, TDY/TAD, or deployed settings.
  • •Coordinate training programs for safe and expedited return to training, and collaborate with medical/sports medicine, cognitive performance, and performance nutrition professionals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline (master’s preferred).
  • •7+ years of related experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with individual athletes and groups.
  • •Maintain an active NSCA certification as a CSCS (or SCCC via CSCCA).
  • •Current CPR certification including AED training.
  • •Physically proficient to demonstrate exercises/techniques and meet SOF training demands in austere environments.
