Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry a personal welder qualification card on site at all times and attend TBSM and TBQM on time.
  • •Ensure a valid WPS is available and adhere to it during joint welding.
  • •Inspect welding equipment for safe working condition and maintain welding tools and hand tools.
  • •Survey the surrounding area to minimize risk of fire, explosion, or injury caused by welding activities.
  • •Inspect complete welds and substrate for no-conformances, report issues to the foreman, and perform rectification work; document weld details in the matrix box and clean welds by removing slag/spatter.
