Job Summary

Assist clients with the origination of residential mortgage loans by providing analysis and advice on home lending solutions that fit their financial objectives. Prospect and build new client relationships to grow home lending business, originate and process transactions in line with company guidelines, and manage the loan process from application through closing while maintaining high client satisfaction and loan quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect home lending business to build and develop new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process family residential real estate mortgage transactions in accordance with home lending process and product guidelines.
•Gather documents at loan registration and serve as the primary point of contact through the loan process.
•Provide clients with detailed information on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Work in a branch environment to provide in-person client services 4+ days per week and maintain high standards of client satisfaction and loan quality.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and RESPA regulations (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to advise clients on mortgage options.
•Proficiency in sales and service skills, including tele-consulting, prospecting, networking, and COI relationship management.
