Key Responsibilities

  • •Reinforce didactic content, teaching the knowledge and skills needed for pre-licensure nursing
  • •Collaborate with content area faculty to provide expert evaluation and documentation of student progress toward clinical objectives
  • •Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs
  • •Remain current with new trends and development in the specific field of nursing practice
  • •Travel to GCU student sites, directly observing student performance
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •BSN required. BSNs will be required to enroll in a GCU MSN Leadership or MSN Education program, immediately upon hire, paid for by GCU OR
  • •BSN with proof of at least 9 credits/3 classes in any graduate program OR approved national certification related to the content area being taught. Please specify your graduate credits OR national certification on your resume.
  • •5 years' recent RN clinical experience with 3 years' recent direct Critical Care/Complex Care patient care nursing experience with a BSN
  • •An active, current, unencumbered, and multi-state (compact) RN license
  • •Must successfully pass a drug test and competency testing
