Job Summary

Own end-to-end investigations into alleged Code of Conduct violations, ensuring confidentiality, impartiality, and procedural fairness. Identify systemic risks by analyzing evidence trends, root causes, and control/process gaps, then recommend updates to investigation SOPs, standards, and documentation. Provide compliance and legal guidance to internal stakeholders, support ethics training and awareness communications, and partner across HR, Legal, and business teams to strengthen TikTok’s ethics and compliance program.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently manage end-to-end workplace investigations, from intake and planning through evidence analysis and reporting.
•Ensure investigations are conducted with confidentiality, impartiality, and respect for privacy.
•Identify root causes and systemic weaknesses in processes, policies, or controls, and recommend improvements to SOPs, standards, and documentation.
•Provide legal advice and guidance on compliance matters to internal stakeholders, including senior management.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Employee Relations, Legal, and business teams, and support ethics training, guidance materials, and communications.

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years of experience conducting workplace investigations (Ethics & Compliance, Employee Relations, Legal, HR, or relevant government agencies).
•Strong understanding of workplace standards and investigation practices, including procedural fairness and case management fundamentals.
•Ability to conduct internal investigations (whistleblower, fraud, and misconduct) with discretion and confidentiality.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
•Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to work effectively across functions and international teams.
