Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Produce and present cost plans and updated estimates at design milestones.
  • •Review and coordinate with design services and general contractors on cost estimates and submission reviews, including executive summaries.
  • •Manage cost checking, valuations, cost variances, contingency management, and commitment tracking logs post-contract.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and support final account negotiations; compile built cost records for benchmarking and mentor talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects (e.g., commercial interiors, high-rise assets, campus-style developments).
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
