Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the migration testing strategy, framework, and roadmap, including testing standards, quality gates, and governance processes.
  • •Establish a risk-based testing methodology and perform migration impact assessments to tailor coverage to migration waves and cutover milestones.
  • •Develop comprehensive test plans spanning system, SIT, end-to-end business process testing, regression, data validation/reconciliation, performance/volume testing, UAT, and cutover/rollback validation.
  • •Define mainframe and migration validation coverage for COBOL, CICS, JCL conversion/batch processing, VSAM/DB2/IMS, interfaces/file transfers, security configurations, and enterprise schedulers.
  • •Coordinate federated testing across mainframe, application, infrastructure, security, database teams and SMEs; lead defect triage and issue/dependency management; provide Go/No-Go readiness recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in Test Architecture, Test Management, or Quality Engineering.
  • •Strong hands-on knowledge of mainframe applications, platforms, and testing methodologies.
  • •Experience with z/VSE, z/OS, COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
